CONSTRUCTION DIVING:

DIVING SERVICES

Using the latest industry diving equipment Almanar International are capable of carrying any type of commercial diving in the air range both for Civil Engineering and Offshore projects. We have long term diving maintenance contracts with several gas and oil related companies in Oman and overseas.

INSPECTION DIVING / UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY:

Almanar International have full time inspection divers who combined with our dive personnel can carry out all types of inspection / NDT diving operations. We have available underwater cameras fit for all purpose including surface monitor systems.

NDT DIVING OPERATIONSSALVAGE:

Almanar International have experience in the recovery and salvage of stricken and sunken vessels and have sufficient salvage resources to undertake most emergencies.

SALVAGE OPERATIONSSHIP MAINTENANCE:

Almanar International have a dedicated team of divers equipped with the necessary hydraulic and pneumatic tools to undertake most types of hull maintenance operations and cleaning.

PROPELLER INSPECTION

Almanar International have undertaken several reef development Projects and coral transfer Projects. We are committed to preserving the pristine marine environment of the Sultanate of oman

NAVIGATION BUOYS:

MARINE INSTALLATION

With a large coastline and active marine industry Oman has a requirement for a considerable number of navigation buoys and aids. Almanar International is actively involved in the installation of replacement and new buoys as well as maintenance of existing buoys.

FENDERS:

Alongside the marine construction activities listed below there is always a requirement for the installation of fenders both new and replacement. Almanar International have been involved in many such projects

MARINE CONSTRUCTION:QUAY WALL CONSTRUCTION:

Almanar International are proud to have successfully completed more than fourteen quay wall construction projects in the region. These have been carried out in water depths ranging from -3m to -25m CD. We have the capability to undertake these operations either as a diving sub-contractor with equipment provided by the client or on a full service basis with plant, supervision and divers all provided by Almanar International.

BREAKWATER CONSTRUCTION:

Almanar International have taken a lead role in the construction of many of the new harbours in Oman since 2006. Breakwater construction with rock armor, Acropod, Coreloc and Stabit have all been carried out with a total of over 10km of breakwater completed by Almanar International staff since 2006.

BREAKWATER CONSTRUCTION ABG PIPELINE INSTALLATION:

With the increasing demand for desalinated water and the safe disposal of treated effluence pipeline installation (GRP and HDPE) projects have become fairly common over the last decade. Almanar International have assisted with the installation of seawater intake and discharge lines in Oman and have undertaken the complete installation of pipelines ranging from 200mmm diameter up to 1700mm diameter.

DREDGING:

Almanar International own and operate dredging equipment to support our marine construction activities. This equipment includes a small cutter suction dredger (Timsa I), 110 ton clamshell dredger mounted on a pin barge (Nimir) supported by a 650m3 capacity split barge. In addition to this marine dredging plant we have several long reach excavators and crawler cranes fitted with dredging clamshells.

DREDGING OPERATIONS

UNDERWATER BLASTING:

Almanar International have ROP permits for our divers to carry out underwater blasting activities which are often required for the installation of pipes and marine structures.

CARDOX SYSTEMSLIPWAY CONSTRUCTION:

Running parallel to the other services we provide during harbour construction Almanar International have installed numerous slipways for launching small craft and have also been involved in the repairs and maintenance of larger slipways. We have the capability of design and installation of slipways.

MARINE PILING.

Many marine projects in which Masirah International have participated require that marine piling is carried out. We have the capability of undertaking this operation either from floating plant or from shore base d plant.

PILE HAMMER AND GHUMAYS

CONSTRUCTION BARGES:

MARINE PLANT HIRE / MARINE TRANSPORT:

Almanar International have several construction barges which are available for charter and are suitable for most types of marine construction and soil investigation operations

MARINE TRANSPORTATION:

Almanar International operate both landing craft and barges and can deliver materials not only between ports but also to remote locations both in Oman and elsewhere in the region.

TUG BOATS:

Supporting our marine plant Almanar International have small tug boats.

SMALL VESSEL HIRE:

Almanar International have several small launches with both inboard and outboard engines. These are available for hire and can be adapted to most requirements.
